Quite a pleasant surprise to find ourselves mentioned in this week's copy of Publishers Weekly."With Silva drawing record crowds on tour for his ninth Gabriel Allon thriller (Copies in print: 302,200), there's no question he's a hot author---on one stop, in fact, really hot. On July 22, the mercury hovered around 110 in Scottsdale, Ariz., when Silva greeted fans at The Poisoned Pen (his sixth consecutive appearance there). No problem drawing crowds, said owner Barbara Peters: "The store was way beyond capacity; we had people spilling out into the streets." Sales were hot, too: 250+ books."
